Background
This product is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic recombinant analog of the anti-PD-1 antibody camrelizumab, supplied for research use only. It is a human IgG4 format antibody directed against human PD-1 (PDCD1, UniProt Q15116) and is intended to reproduce the target-binding behaviour of the originator molecule so researchers can use it as a well-defined reference reagent rather than as a clinical drug. Because it recapitulates PD-1 engagement, it is useful as a positive control in binding and blocking assays, as a benchmarking tool against other anti-PD-1 reagents, and as a building block for ADCC/ADC and engineered-format development work. It is produced at research grade with low endotoxin (typically less than 1 EU/mg, with ultra-low-endotoxin lots under 0.5 EU/mg) and is available in bulk milligram-to-gram quantities to support in-vitro and preclinical workflows. It is not the clinical product and is not intended for human or veterinary use. The IgG4 backbone limits Fc effector engagement, consistent with a checkpoint-blocking design. PD-1 (programmed cell death protein 1; gene PDCD1; UniProt Q15116) is a type I transmembrane immunoinhibitory receptor of the CD28/B7 family, expressed on activated T cells and also on B cells, NK cells, and some myeloid populations. Its cytoplasmic tail carries an ITIM and an ITSM motif; upon engagement by its ligands PD-L1 (CD274) and PD-L2 (PDCD1LG2), PD-1 recruits the phosphatase SHP-2, which dephosphorylates proximal T-cell receptor and CD28 signalling components, dampening T-cell activation, proliferation, and cytokine output. This pathway maintains peripheral tolerance and limits immunopathology, but tumours and chronically infected tissues exploit it to drive T-cell exhaustion. Antibodies that block the PD-1/PD-L1 axis restore effector T-cell function, the mechanistic basis of checkpoint-blockade immunotherapy.

Specificity
Detects human PD-1. This non-therapeutic antibody uses the same sequence as the therapeutic antibody Camrelizumab.
Purification Method
This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.
Formulation
Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2,with no carrier protein, potassium or preservatives added. BSA and Azide free.
Storage
Stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
