Clone IB4 is a human IgG4 isotype control offering a subclass-matched negative reference for studies using IgG4-format test antibodies, which are favoured for their reduced effector activity. Carrying no relevant specificity, IB4 defines the background signal and gating limits that separate true target engagement from scaffold effects in flow cytometry and functional assays. The anti-IgG4 control clone IB4 is delivered in a low-endotoxin format suitable for in vivo use and manufactured at scalable milligram to gram quantities for bulk and high-throughput laboratories. It is a non-therapeutic reagent intended strictly for research use only.

This Human IgG4 isotype control recombinant antibody has been tested against selected species' cells and tissues to assure minimal cross reactivity. Furthermore, this low endotoxin Human IgG4 antibody is suitable for in vivo applications and each lot is IMPACT I certified.

This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

This monoclonal antibody is aseptically packaged and formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (150 mM NaCl) PBS pH 7.2 - 7.4 with no carrier protein, potassium, calcium or preservatives added.

This antibody is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
