MUC16 (CA-125) is a tumour-associated mucin frequently overexpressed in ovarian cancer and exploited for antibody-directed payload delivery owing to its accessibility on malignant cells. This research-grade tool is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of sofituzumab vedotin centred on the MUC16 antigen and supplied for research use only (RUO). It is made to in vivo standards, formulated to a low-endotoxin level, and offered in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities for heavy-usage laboratories. As an ADC research reagent it is suited to antibody-drug conjugate development, in vitro internalisation and cytotoxicity assays, and in vivo preclinical oncology studies.

This biosimilar is stable when stored at 2-8°C. For longer term storage (> 3 months) it is recommended to store this antibody at -20°C or -70°C.

Functional Assays

Reconstitute with sterile, distilled water to a final concentration of 1 mg/ml. Gently shake to solubilize completely. Do not vortex.
