Background

CD40 is a TNF-receptor-family co-stimulatory molecule on antigen-presenting cells that, when engaged, licenses dendritic cells and drives B-cell activation and germinal-centre responses. Clone FGK4.5 is a rat IgG2a monoclonal antibody to mouse CD40, validated for Western blot, functional assays and flow cytometry. Anti-mouse CD40 FGK4.5 is supplied in a low-endotoxin, in-vivo-suitable format and produced in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities for bulk laboratories. As a non-therapeutic, research-use-only (RUO) reagent, FGK4.5 provides dependable, reproducible results for studies of CD40-mediated immune activation in the mouse.
