MUC5AC, a secreted gel-forming mucin, is overexpressed in numerous epithelial tumors and serves as a candidate tumor-associated antigen for targeted therapeutics. This research-grade reagent is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of ensituximab vedotin, a research-grade antibody-drug-conjugate (ADC) analog directed against the MUC5AC antigen, intended for research use only (RUO). Produced to exacting in vivo standards, the ultra-pure, low-endotoxin preparation is offered in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities for heavy-usage and high-throughput laboratories. It supports ADC development research, including in vitro binding and internalization assays, in vivo tumor models, and comparative biologics characterization as a reliable MUC5AC-targeted reference.

This biosimilar is stable when stored at 2-8°C. For longer term storage (> 3 months) it is recommended to store this antibody at -20°C or -70°C.

Functional Assays

Reconstitute with sterile, distilled water to a final concentration of 1 mg/ml. Gently shake to solubilize completely. Do not vortex.
