Background
This product is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic recombinant analog of tiragolumab, a fully human IgG1 antibody directed against TIGIT (T-cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains). It is manufactured as a research-grade biosimilar for laboratory use only and is not the clinical drug, nor is it intended for human or veterinary use. Built around the well-characterized TIGIT target, it is intended as a defined, reproducible tool for studying TIGIT-axis biology in vitro and in preclinical settings. Typical applications include use as a positive control or benchmarking reagent in TIGIT binding and blockade assays, as a reference antibody when screening or characterizing novel anti-TIGIT candidates, and as a starting point for ADCC or antibody-engineering workflows. The material is supplied at low endotoxin levels (research grade <1 EU/mg; ultra-low <0.5 EU/mg) and is available in bulk milligram-to-gram quantities to support scale-up, assay standardization, and preclinical model work. Lot-to-lot consistency and defined format make it suitable for controls and comparability studies across long-running research programs. TIGIT (T-cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains; also called VSIG9 or VSTM3) is a co-inhibitory receptor of the immunoglobulin superfamily expressed on activated T cells, regulatory T cells, and natural killer (NK) cells. It binds the nectin-family ligands CD155 (PVR) and, with lower affinity, CD112 (PVRL2/nectin-2), competing with the co-stimulatory receptor CD226 (DNAM-1) for these ligands. Engagement of CD155 delivers inhibitory signals through TIGIT's cytoplasmic ITIM and ITT-like motifs, dampening T-cell and NK-cell activation, cytokine production, and cytotoxicity. As an immune checkpoint, TIGIT contributes to peripheral tolerance and to immune evasion in the tumor microenvironment, making the TIGIT-CD155-CD226 axis a focus of cancer immunology research.
Other Names
