F4/80 is a glycoprotein of the EGF-TM7 family and one of the most established markers for identifying mature mouse macrophages. Clone Cl:A3-1 is a rat IgG2b kappa monoclonal antibody recognising mouse F4/80, validated for functional assays, flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry, IHC, immunoprecipitation, and radioimmunoassay. Anti-F4/80 Cl:A3-1 is supplied in a low-endotoxin format suitable for in vivo use and produced in scalable milligram to gram quantities for bulk and high-throughput laboratories. This non-therapeutic reagent, for research use only, delivers reproducible lot-to-lot performance for mouse macrophage identification and myeloid-cell biology research.

This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

Sterile, preservative-free, solution in PBS. BSA and Azide free.

Stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –20°C or –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
