This product is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic recombinant analog of mosunetuzumab, supplied strictly for research use only. Mosunetuzumab is a CD20-directed CD3 T-cell engaging bispecific antibody, and this reagent is built to recapitulate that dual-target binding activity so investigators can study CD20 x CD3 bridging biology without using clinical drug product. It is intended as a research tool for functional and preclinical characterization: as a binding and neutralisation reagent, a bispecific-engager positive control, a benchmarking standard against in-house constructs, and a comparator in T-cell redirection and cytotoxicity assays. Mosunetuzumab engages two targets. CD20 (MS4A1) is a four-pass transmembrane phosphoprotein expressed on B cells from the pre-B through mature stages but absent on plasma cells and stem cells; it contributes to B-cell activation and calcium flux and is a validated marker across B-cell malignancies such as follicular and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. CD3 epsilon (CD3E, UniProt P07766) is an invariant signaling subunit of the CD3 complex that assembles with the T-cell receptor and the CD3 gamma, delta, and zeta chains; its cytoplasmic ITAM couples antigen recognition to downstream T-cell activation. A CD20 x CD3 bispecific simultaneously binds CD20 on malignant B cells and CD3 epsilon on T cells, forming an immunological synapse that redirects polyclonal T cells to kill target B cells independently of TCR specificity.
