The glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) governs insulin secretion and metabolic signaling, making it a heavily studied receptor in diabetes and metabolic research. This reagent is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of lixisenatide designed to engage GLP-1R for functional studies. It is supplied in a low-endotoxin format suitable for in vivo experiments and manufactured in scalable milligram-to-gram quantities to keep bulk and high-throughput laboratories supplied. For research use only (RUO), it is well suited to receptor-binding and signaling assays, cAMP and insulin-secretion readouts, in vitro screening, and preclinical metabolic disease models, where it can serve as both a control and an active probe.
