Background
IL-1 alpha is a dual-function alarmin and pro-inflammatory cytokine that signals through the IL-1 receptor to initiate and amplify inflammatory responses. Clone ALF-161 is an Armenian hamster IgG1 monoclonal antibody to mouse IL-1 alpha, validated for Western blot, ELISA, ELISPOT, neutralization, immunoprecipitation and intracellular flow cytometry. Anti-mouse IL-1a ALF-161 is supplied in a low-endotoxin, in-vivo-suitable format and produced in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities for bulk laboratories. As a non-therapeutic, research-use-only (RUO) reagent, ALF-161 delivers reproducible neutralisation and detection of IL-1 alpha in mouse inflammation studies.
