This product is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic recombinant analog of the anti-CD25 (IL2RA) antibody camidanlumab, supplied for research use only. It reproduces the antigen-binding specificity of the originator (a human IgG1 kappa directed against the alpha subunit of the human IL-2 receptor) but is provided as a bare antibody without the pyrrolobenzodiazepine payload of the clinical antibody-drug conjugate, and is not intended for human or veterinary use. As a naked biosimilar it is well suited to laboratory workflows where a defined, reproducible anti-IL2RA binder is needed: as an isotype-matched positive control in binding and specificity assays, as a benchmarking reagent alongside other CD25-directed molecules, as a capture or detection tool for IL2RA, and as a starting antibody for in-house conjugation and ADC or payload-linker development. It is offered at research grade with low endotoxin (typically <1 EU/mg, with ultra-low <0.5 EU/mg options) and in bulk milligram-to-gram quantities to support assay development, screening campaigns, and preclinical model work requiring consistent lot-to-lot material. IL2RA (CD25, encoded by IL2RA; UniProt P01589) is the alpha chain of the interleukin-2 receptor. Alone it binds IL-2 with low affinity, but when it assembles with the IL-2 receptor beta chain (CD122) and the common gamma chain (CD132) it forms the high-affinity heterotrimeric receptor that drives IL-2 signaling through JAK/STAT5, PI3K/AKT, and MAPK pathways. CD25 is a defining marker of regulatory T cells (Tregs), where it supports immune tolerance and homeostasis, and it is transiently upregulated on activated conventional T and B cells. Because sustained high-level expression also occurs on several hematologic malignancies and activated lymphocytes, CD25 is an established target for immunomodulation and for antibody- and ADC-based oncology approaches. Soluble CD25 shed into serum serves as a biomarker of immune activation.
