Anti-IFN beta In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (HDB-4A7) recognizes an epitope on Mouse IFN-beta and binds specifically to murine IFNbeta and does not bind murine IFNg or several different IFNa species (a-1,4,5 or 13); HDb-4A7 binds both recombinant and natural forms

Purification Method:

This antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

Storage:

This antibody is stable for at least 4 weeks when stored at 2-8°C. For long term storage, aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at – 20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles.

Application Notes:

Blocking: Blocks in vivo IFNb leading to increased the lethality of mice infected with West Nile Virus (WNV), similar to the susceptibility of IFNb-/- mice. Clone HDB-4A7 circulates with a half-life of ~ 14 days. Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
