CA125/MUC16 is a tumor-associated mucin widely investigated as a target for ovarian-cancer therapeutics and antibody-drug conjugates. This research-grade human IgG1 antibody is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of oregovomab vedotin, produced in CHO cells against CA125/MUC16. Provided for research use only, it is formulated to low endotoxin for in vivo compatibility and manufactured in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities for bulk and high-throughput laboratories. As the naked antibody backbone of a vedotin-class conjugate, it is especially useful for ADC payload-linker development, internalization studies, functional binding assays, and preclinical tumor-targeting models.

This biosimilar is stable when stored at 2-8°C. For longer term storage (> 3 months) it is recommended to store this antibody at -20°C or -70°C.

Functional Assays

Reconstitute with sterile, distilled water to a final concentration of 1 mg/ml. Gently shake to solubilize completely. Do not vortex.
