Storage

anti-Ly-6G In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (1A8) is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at -80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.

Anti-Ly-6G In Vivo Antibody - Ultra Low Endotoxin (1A8) recognizes an epitope on Mouse Ly-6G. Unlike clone RB6-8C5 antibody, the 1A8 antibody reacts specifically with mouse Ly6G with no reported cross-reactivity with Ly6C

Background

Ly-6G is a GPI-anchored surface protein expressed at high levels on mature neutrophils, making it a definitive marker for distinguishing granulocytes from other myeloid cells. Clone 1A8 is a rat IgG2a monoclonal antibody to mouse Ly-6G, validated for FFPE IHC, frozen IHC, flow cytometry, Western blot, in vivo depletion and immunofluorescence. Anti-mouse Ly-6G 1A8 is supplied in a low-endotoxin, in-vivo-suitable format and produced in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities for bulk laboratories. As a non-therapeutic, research-use-only (RUO) reagent, 1A8 provides reproducible performance for neutrophil identification and depletion studies in the mouse.
