Background
This product is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic recombinant analog of enoblituzumab, an anti-CD276 (B7-H3) human IgG1 antibody engineered in its Fc region for enhanced Fc-gamma-receptor engagement and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity. Supplied for research use only, it reproduces the antigen-binding specificity of the originator molecule against human CD276 while being manufactured to research specifications rather than clinical ones. It is not the clinical drug and is not intended for human or veterinary use. The material is well suited to in-vitro and preclinical research, including use as a positive binding control, a reference reagent for CD276-directed assay development, a benchmarking tool alongside other B7-H3 binders, and a building block for ADCC or antibody-drug-conjugate development workflows. It is offered at low endotoxin (research grade typically under 1 EU/mg, with ultra-low-endotoxin options under 0.5 EU/mg) and in bulk milligram-to-gram quantities to support scale-up, assay standardization, and reproducibility across experiments. Because it is an analog built around the CD276 target, it lets labs study CD276 biology and antibody engagement without sourcing clinical-grade drug product.
CD276, also known as B7-H3, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the B7 immunoglobulin superfamily of immune costimulatory and coinhibitory ligands. It is broadly expressed and often markedly overexpressed on many solid tumors and tumor-associated vasculature, while showing limited expression on most normal tissues, which underlies interest in it as a tumor-selective target. B7-H3 has been reported to modulate T-cell responses, generally with an inhibitory or immunoregulatory role, and has also been implicated in non-immunological pro-tumor functions affecting proliferation, migration, invasion, and metabolism. Its counter-receptor on immune cells remains incompletely defined. The wide tumor distribution combined with restricted normal-tissue expression makes CD276 an actively pursued target for antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, bispecifics, and CAR-based approaches, and a common antigen in binding, blocking, and effector-function research assays.
