Background
Type I interferon alpha (IFN-alpha) is a key antiviral and immunomodulatory cytokine that drives innate immune signalling and shapes adaptive responses. Clone TIF-3C5, an Armenian hamster IgG1 monoclonal antibody against mouse IFN-alpha, is validated for Western blot and blocking applications, making it useful for neutralising and dissecting type I interferon activity. Anti-IFN-alpha TIF-3C5 is manufactured in a low-endotoxin format that is well suited to in vivo experiments. It is generated in scalable milligram-to-gram batches for heavy-usage and high-throughput laboratories, and is supplied for research use only as a non-therapeutic reagent.
