Staphylococcus aureus alpha toxin is a pore-forming cytolysin and a key virulence factor targeted in anti-infective research. The product here is a non-therapeutic, unconjugated analog of suvratoxumab, a recombinant anti-alpha-toxin monoclonal antibody for research use only. It is manufactured to in vivo standards with low endotoxin and made in scalable milligram to gram quantities for bulk and high-throughput study. Applications include toxin-neutralization functional assays, in vitro hemolysis-inhibition screens, and in vivo models of staphylococcal infection. Its scalable supply and batch consistency suit programs that require uniform reagent across many studies. Lot-to-lot reproducibility and ample availability make it well suited to extended, high-volume research efforts.
