Background
ICH5720 is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic recombinant analog of the anti-TSLP antibody Ocankitug, supplied strictly for research use only. It is a full-length human IgG1/kappa immunoglobulin engineered around the same molecular target as the originator drug, thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP), and is not the clinical product, nor is it intended for human or veterinary use. The analog is useful as a target-specific tool for characterizing TSLP biology and antibody behavior in controlled settings: as a positive or reference control in binding and neutralization assays, as a benchmarking reagent alongside other anti-TSLP molecules, for epitope and affinity work, and as a building block in ADC or bispecific development pipelines. Material is offered at research grade with low endotoxin (typically <1 EU/mg, with an ultra-low <0.5 EU/mg option) and can be supplied in bulk quantities from milligram to gram scale, along with formats suitable for in-vitro and preclinical in-vivo standardization studies. It is provided for ichorbio review and should be described accurately as an analog built around the TSLP target rather than as the marketed therapeutic. Thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) is an IL-7-like, four-helix-bundle cytokine produced mainly by epithelial cells at barrier surfaces such as the lung, skin, and gut, typically in response to allergens, viruses, and other pro-inflammatory triggers. TSLP signals through a heterodimeric receptor comprising the TSLP receptor chain (TSLPR/CRLF2) paired with the IL-7 receptor alpha chain (IL7RA), activating downstream JAK/STAT signaling. Acting on dendritic cells, T cells, mast cells, and innate lymphoid cells, TSLP is an upstream driver of type 2 inflammation and helps orchestrate allergic and inflammatory responses. Because it sits high in the inflammatory cascade, TSLP is a validated target in respiratory and allergic disease research, and reagents that bind TSLP are widely used to probe how blocking this cytokine disrupts receptor engagement and downstream immune activation.
