Background
An amplified receptor tyrosine kinase, HER2 (ERBB2) sits at the centre of breast and gastric cancer research. Provided at ultra-low endotoxin, this research-grade anti-human HER2 recombinant monoclonal antibody is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of trastuzumab built around the HER2 target for research use only. The ultra-pure, low-endotoxin formulation is particularly suited to demanding in vivo studies, and it is produced to rigorous standards in scalable milligram to gram quantities for high-throughput and bulk laboratories. Applications include HER2-binding and blocking assays, in vitro screening, in vivo tumour models, ADCC studies, and antibody-drug conjugate development.

Specificity
Detects human ErbB2. This non-therapeutic antibody uses the same sequence as the therapeutic antibody Trastuzumab.
Purification Method
This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.
Formulation
Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2,with no carrier protein, potassium or preservatives added. BSA and Azide free.
Storage
Stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
