Background:

Trastuzumab is a humanized IgG1 kappa monoclonal antibody that selectively binds with high affinity to the extracellular domain of the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 protein, HER2. Trastuzumab is produced by recombinant DNA technology in a mammalian cell (Chinese Hamster Ovary).

Concentration:

1.0 - 5.0 mg/ml

Formulation:

Sterile, clear and colorless liquid with a pH of about 6.0, containing trehalose dihydrate , histidine monohydrate hydrochloride, histidine, polysorbate 20, without preservatives. pH 6.0. BSA and Azide free.

>95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC

Endotoxin:

≤ 0.75 EU/mg as determined by the LAL method

Storage:

Trastuzumab Biosimilar - Research Grade is stable for at least four (4) weeks when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
