In the pig, as in other mammals, FcRn governs the recycling and extended half-life of IgG and albumin, making it relevant to antibody pharmacokinetics in swine translational models. This recombinant pig FcRn heterodimer, comprising the alpha chain paired with beta-2-microglobulin, is expressed in HEK 293 cells and validated for SPR, BLI and ELISA to enable pH-dependent IgG binding analysis across species. The protein is non-therapeutic and for research use only, manufactured to in vivo grade with ultra-low endotoxin. Available in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities, it supports high-throughput and bulk pharmacokinetic and Fc engineering studies.

The sequence of the extracellular domain of porcine FCGRT (Ala 24-Ser 298) was fused with a C-terminal tag consisting of the AVI tag, TEV protease recognition sequence and a 10-His tag. This was co-transfected with the sequence of porcine B2M (Val 21-His 120) and the resulting FcRn heterodimer was purified. The full protein sequences can be downloaded from the product webpage.

Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4. No preservatives or cryoprotectants have been added. To obtain a final concentration of 1 mg/ml reconstitute 0.25 mg vials with 0.25 ml water and 1.0 mg vials with 1.0 ml water.
