PCSK9 governs the recycling of hepatic LDL receptors and is a central regulator of circulating cholesterol, making it a heavily studied node in lipid metabolism and cardiovascular research. This research-grade anti-human PCSK9 recombinant monoclonal (IgG1, kappa) is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of lodelcizumab intended strictly for research use only (RUO). Purified to a low-endotoxin standard appropriate for in vivo studies, it is produced in scalable milligram-to-gram batches so that bulk-consuming and high-throughput laboratories never run short. Researchers can deploy it as a benchmark control or active reagent across in vitro receptor-binding screens, neutralization assays, and preclinical in vivo models of dyslipidemia.
