Clone IB2 is a human IgG2 isotype control that delivers a subclass-matched negative reference for experiments employing IgG2-format test antibodies. Because IB2 carries no relevant specificity, it establishes the background and gating baseline needed to separate true antigen engagement from scaffold effects in flow cytometry and functional assays. Featuring the native IgG2 framework, control clone IB2 reproduces the Fc behaviour of the test antibody without contributing specific binding. It is supplied in a low-endotoxin format suitable for in vivo use and manufactured in scalable milligram to gram quantities for bulk and high-throughput laboratories. The reagent is non-therapeutic and for research use only.

This Human IgG2 isotype control recombinant antibody has been tested against selected species' cells and tissues to assure minimal cross reactivity. Furthermore, this low endotoxin Human IgG2 antibody is suitable for in vivo applications and each lot is IMPACT I certified.

This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

This monoclonal antibody is aseptically packaged and formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (150 mM NaCl) PBS pH 7.2 - 7.4 with no carrier protein, potassium, calcium or preservatives added.

This antibody is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
