Complement component C5 sits at a pivotal step of the complement cascade, and its cleavage drives inflammation and membrane-attack-complex formation, a focus of complement-biology research. This antibody is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of crovalimab, a human IgG1-kappa recombinant monoclonal for research use only (RUO). It is delivered low in endotoxin to in vivo standards and produced in scalable milligram-to-gram quantities for high-throughput laboratories. It supports functional and complement-inhibition assays, hemolysis studies, in vitro screening and preclinical models examining C5-mediated inflammation.
