Background
CD48 is a GPI-anchored member of the SLAM family expressed broadly on haematopoietic cells, where it engages CD2 and 2B4 to modulate lymphocyte adhesion and activation. Clone HM48-1 is an Armenian hamster IgG monoclonal antibody recognising mouse CD48, validated for in vivo use. Anti-CD48 HM48-1 is supplied in a low-endotoxin format suitable for in vivo applications and manufactured in scalable milligram to gram quantities for bulk and high-throughput laboratories. As a non-therapeutic reagent for research use only, it gives reproducible, lot-consistent results for mouse immune-cell adhesion and SLAM-family signalling studies.

This antibody is aseptically packaged and formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2, 150 mM NaCl with no carrier protein, potassium or preservatives added.
Storage
This low endotoxin antibody is stable when stored at 2-8°C for at least four (4) weeks. For long-term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at -80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
