Human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) is a widespread herpesvirus and an important subject of antiviral and transplant-immunology research. The reagent here is a research-grade, unconjugated analog of sevirumab, a recombinant monoclonal antibody recognizing HCMV, intended for research use only. It is produced to in vivo standards with low endotoxin and offered in scalable milligram to gram quantities to support high-throughput study. Suitable applications include viral neutralization functional assays, in vitro binding and infectivity screens, and in vivo models examining cytomegalovirus infection and immune control.
