Engineered with the S239D/A330L/I332E triple substitution, this human IgG1 antibody is directed against hen egg lysozyme and so acts purely as a negative control in mammalian research. It is used to define background signal and gating thresholds, helping researchers attribute measured activity to genuine target binding rather than the antibody framework. The control is well suited to flow cytometry, functional assays, and controlled in vivo experiments.
