Background:

Evolocumab biosimilar is a human monoclonal immunoglobulin G2 (IgG2) directed against human proprotein convertase subtilisin kexin 9 (PCSK9). Evolocumab biosimilarhas an approximate molecular weight (MW) of 144 kDa and is produced in genetically engineered mammalian (Chinese hamster ovary) cells.

Concentration:

1.0 - 5.0 mg/ml

Formulation:

Sterile, preservative-free, clear or milky white, colorless to pale yellow solution, containing acetic acid, Polysorbate 80 and proline. pH of the buffer is 5.0. BSA and Azide free.

Purity:

>95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC

Endotoxin:

≤ 0.75 EU/mg as determined by the LAL method

Storage:

Evolocumab Biosimilar - Research Grade is stable for at least four (4) weeks when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
