Background
CD49d is the alpha4 integrin subunit involved in leukocyte adhesion and trafficking across the blood-brain barrier and inflamed tissue, a well-studied target in neuroinflammation. This research-grade antibody is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of natalizumab recognising human CD49d and validated for functional assays. It is intended for research use only, formulated to a low-endotoxin specification suitable for in vivo work, and produced in scalable milligram to gram quantities for high-throughput laboratories. It supports adhesion-blockade studies, leukocyte-migration assays, in vitro screening, and in vivo models exploring integrin-dependent immune cell trafficking.
