anti-CD11b In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (44) is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at -80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.

Specificity
Anti-CD11b In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (44) recognizes Human CD11b. Anti-Human CD11b recognizes the alpha subunit of the CD11b/CD18 complex, an alpha/Beta heterodimeric surface glycoprotein on human leukocytes (Mr 165-170 kDa). The CD11b/CD18 antigen belongs to the B2 integrin family. Other names include Mac-1, Cr3, MO-1 and C3bi receptor. The CD11b molecule functions as a receptor for C3bi complement, clotting factor X, fibrinogen and ICAM-1.

Background
CD11b, the alpha-M integrin subunit of Mac-1, is broadly expressed on myeloid cells and mediates adhesion, phagocytosis and complement-dependent responses. Clone ICRF44 is a mouse IgG1 monoclonal antibody recognising human CD11b, with validation in flow cytometry, Western blot, frozen-section IHC and immunoprecipitation. Supplied in a low-endotoxin format suitable for in vivo applications, ICRF44 is produced in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities for bulk and high-throughput laboratories. This non-therapeutic reagent is intended for research use only (RUO) and provides consistent lot-to-lot reliability for myeloid and innate immunity research.
