Microtubule-associated protein tau (MAPT) stabilizes neuronal microtubules, and its abnormal aggregation underlies tauopathies including Alzheimer's disease. This product is a research-grade, unconjugated analog of semorinemab, a recombinant anti-tau monoclonal antibody supplied for research use only. It is produced to in vivo standards in a low-endotoxin format and made in scalable milligram to gram quantities to serve high-throughput neuroscience programs. Applications include tau-binding functional assays, in vitro characterization of pathological tau, and in vivo models of tau propagation and neurodegeneration. Lot-to-lot reproducibility and ample availability make it well suited to extended, high-volume research efforts.

This biosimilar is stable when stored at 2-8°C. For longer term storage (> 3 months) it is recommended to store this antibody at -20°C or -70°C.
