This human IgG4 control with a kappa light chain carries the S228P hinge mutation alongside the F234A/L235A effector-silencing substitutions, giving an effector-null negative reference for functional immunology. With no relevant target, the control anchors the background and gating measurements that separate true antigen engagement from scaffold or Fc effects in flow cytometry and functional assays. Matching the framework of IgG4-kappa test antibodies, it isolates non-specific signal cleanly.
