Complement factor D (CFD) is the rate-limiting protease of the alternative complement pathway and a focus of research in inflammatory and ocular disease. This research-grade reagent is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of lampalizumab, supplied as a human Fab fragment of IgG1, kappa origin against the human protein and intended for research use only (RUO). It is formulated with low endotoxin for in vivo suitability and produced at milligram-to-gram scale to meet the needs of bulk and high-throughput laboratories. Applications include enzyme-inhibition and binding assays, complement-pathway studies, in vitro screening, and preclinical inflammation models for functional characterization.

This biosimilar is stable when stored at 2-8°C. For longer term storage (> 3 months) it is recommended to store this antibody at -20°C or -70°C.
