Background

CD8 beta pairs with the CD8 alpha chain to form the functional CD8 co-receptor required for efficient MHC class I recognition by cytotoxic T cells. Clone 53-5.8 is a rat IgG1 monoclonal antibody to mouse CD8 beta, validated for Western blot, functional assays, flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry, frozen IHC and immunoprecipitation. Anti-mouse CD8 beta 53-5.8 is supplied in a low-endotoxin, in-vivo-suitable format and manufactured in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities for bulk and high-throughput laboratories. As a non-therapeutic research-use-only (RUO) reagent, it ensures dependable, reproducible results in mouse T-cell research.
