Bulk anti-CD80 In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (16-10A1)

Bio X Cell:

ICH1037 is up to 37% cheaper for industry than the equivalent products BE0024 (low endotoxin) from Bio X Cell. Product Benefits:

ichorbio's anti-CD80 In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (16-10A1) is manufactured in a cGMP compliant facility. ichorbio's low endotoxin antibodies have half the endotoxin of comparable antibodies from Bio X Cell at less than 1.0 EU/mg. If ichorbio's low endotoxin antibodies are not low enough we also offer ultra low endotoxin antibodies which have even less endotoxin (<0.5EU/mg) at an even higher purity (98% versus 95%). ichorbio: the best antibodies for in vivo research.

Specificity:

Anti-CD80 In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (16-10A1) recognizes an epitope on Mouse CD80

Purification Method:

This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

Antigen Distribution:

Mouse CD80 is expressed on Activated B-Cells, Activated T-Cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells.

Background:

CD80 (B7-1) is a type I integral membrane protein related very closely to CD86 (B7-2). A main function of CD80 is the costimulation of T-cells through ligation of CD28 and CD152 (CTLA-4). T-cells activate with binding of CD28 to CD80 and binding of CD80 to CTLA-4 results in inhibition of T-cells. The clone 16-10A1 has the ability to block the costimulatory activity of CD80 while exhibiting no effect on the activity of CD86.

Immunogen:

Purified Recombinant Mouse CD80 (>98%)

Concentration:

1.0 mg/ml

Formulation:

0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2, 150 mM NaCl with no carrier protein, potassium or preservatives added. BSA and Azide free.

Purity:

>95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC

>98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC

Endotoxin:

≤ 1.0 EU/mg as determined by the LAL method

≤ 0.75 EU/mg as determined by the LAL method

Aggregation:

Aggregation level ≤ 5%

Aggregation level ≤ 1%

IMPACT Pathogen Test:

We use the IMPACT test generated by IDEXX Laboratories to guarantee our Ultra Low Endotoxin antibodies are pathogen free. Our hamster antibodies are tested for: Mycoplasma spp Mycoplasma pulmonis Pneumonia virus of mice Kilham's rat virus Toolan's H1 virus Hamster parvovirus Lymphocytic choriomeningitis Minute virus of mice Theiler's murine encephalomyelitis virus Sendai virus Reovirus 3 Hantaan virus

Storage:

This antibody is stable for at least 4 weeks when stored at 2-8°C. For long term storage, aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at – 20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles.
