Background: Isolating the role of CD4+ Helper T-cells in preclinical disease models requires robust in vivo depletion followed by precise ex vivo confirmation. Epitope masking is a frequent experimental bottleneck, as standard flow antibodies often compete with the circulating in vivo depleter for binding space on the CD4 receptor. ichorbio’s CD4+ Depletion & Validation Kit ensures seamless workflow compatibility. We pair our industry-leading in vivo Anti-Mouse CD4 (Clone GK1.5) with the non-competing validation clone RM4-4. Because GK1.5 and RM4-4 bind to distinct, non-overlapping epitopes on the CD4 molecule, researchers can successfully validate total CD4+ cellular clearance without false-negative flow cytometry results caused by steric hindrance. These monoclonal antibodies were purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

Depletion antibody: Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2,with no carrier protein, potassium or preservatives added. BSA and Azide free. Validation Antibody: Phosphate buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% stabilizer.

Depletion antibody: Can be frozen. Validation antibody: can be stored at 2-8°C for 24 months. Please protected from prolonged exposure to light and do not freeze.
