Background
Clone IB1 with the N297A aglycosylation mutation is a human IgG1 isotype control that eliminates Fc glycan-mediated effector activity, making it a clean negative control where effector engagement must be ruled out. IB1 N297A shares the IgG1 framework of test antibodies and supplies the background and gating reference needed in flow cytometry and functional assays, without contributing specific binding. The anti-IgG1 control clone IB1 is delivered in a low-endotoxin, in-vivo-suitable format and manufactured in scalable milligram to gram quantities for high-throughput and bulk laboratories. It is intended strictly for research use only and is non-therapeutic.

Specificity
This Human IgG1 isotype control recombinant antibody has been tested against selected species' cells and tissues to assure minimal cross reactivity. Furthermore, this low endotoxin Human IgG1 antibody is suitable for in vivo applications and each lot is IMPACT I certified.
Purification Method
This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.
Formulation
This monoclonal antibody is aseptically packaged and formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (150 mM NaCl) PBS pH 7.2 - 7.4 with no carrier protein, potassium, calcium or preservatives added.
Storage
This antibody is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
