The LCMV nucleoprotein is the most abundant viral protein in lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus infection and a central antigen in studies of T-cell immunity and viral persistence. Clone VL-4 is a rat IgG2a kappa monoclonal antibody recognising LCMV nucleoprotein, validated for ELISA, functional assays, flow cytometry, and immunofluorescence. Anti-LCMV NP VL-4 is supplied in a low-endotoxin format suitable for in vivo use and manufactured in scalable milligram to gram quantities for bulk and high-throughput laboratories. As a research-use-only, non-therapeutic reagent, it offers reproducible lot-to-lot performance for LCMV virology and chronic-infection immunology research.

This monoclonal antibody is aseptically packaged and formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (150 mM NaCl) PBS pH 7.2 - 7.4 with no carrier protein, potassium, calcium or preservatives added.

Functional grade preclinical antibodies may be stored sterile as received at 2-8°C for up to one month. For longer term storage, aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at ≤ -70°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
