Tools that recognize the hepatitis B virus (HBV) surface antigen are widely used in viral hepatitis and neutralization research. This human IgG1, lambda2 antibody is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of libevitug directed at the HBV antigen for functional and antiviral studies. The preparation is low in endotoxin and therefore appropriate for in vivo experiments, and it is manufactured in scalable milligram-to-gram lots to support bulk and high-throughput programs. Sold for research use only (RUO), it functions as a binding control and active reagent in neutralization assays, antigen-capture workflows, in vitro screening, and preclinical HBV infection models.

This biosimilar is stable when stored at 2-8°C. For longer term storage (> 3 months) it is recommended to store this antibody at -20°C or -70°C.
