Background
The platelet integrin alphaIIb/beta3 (GPIIb/IIIa) mediates fibrinogen binding and platelet aggregation, a central process in thrombosis research. This reagent is a non-therapeutic, unconjugated analog of tadocizumab, supplied as a recombinant Fab fragment directed against the alphaIIb/beta3 complex, for research use only. It is manufactured to in vivo standards in a low-endotoxin format and produced in scalable milligram to gram quantities for high-throughput laboratories. Applications include platelet-aggregation functional assays, in vitro integrin-binding screens, and in vivo thrombosis models. Its purity and dependable supply support reproducible work in demanding, high-throughput settings. Consistent quality across lots makes it a practical choice for laboratories running sustained study programs.
