Amyloid precursor protein (APP) and its beta-amyloid fragments are key molecules in the study of amyloid pathology and Alzheimer's disease. Offered here is a non-therapeutic, unconjugated analog of solanezumab, a recombinant anti-amyloid monoclonal antibody intended for research use only. It is manufactured to in vivo standards in a low-endotoxin format and made in scalable milligram to gram quantities for high-throughput neuroscience laboratories. Suitable uses include amyloid-binding functional assays, in vitro characterization of soluble amyloid species, and in vivo models of neurodegeneration.
