Storage
This antibody is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at -80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.

Background
Clone IB5 is a mouse IgG1 isotype control engineered with the D265A mutation to silence Fcγ receptor binding, making it purpose-built for in vivo experiments where effector function must be excluded. With no relevant specificity, IB5 D265A establishes the background and gating reference that distinguishes genuine target engagement from scaffold effects in flow cytometry and functional assays. The mouse IgG1 control clone IB5 is supplied in a low-endotoxin format suitable for in vivo use and produced in scalable milligram to gram quantities for bulk and high-throughput laboratories. It is a non-therapeutic reagent provided strictly for research use only.
