Mouse FcRn extends the circulating half-life of IgG and albumin via pH-dependent recycling and is a routine reference in preclinical antibody pharmacokinetic studies. This biotinylated recombinant mouse FcRn heterodimer from HEK 293 cells is suited to streptavidin-capture SPR, BLI and ELISA assays, where oriented immobilization improves the fidelity of pH-dependent IgG binding measurements. The reagent is non-therapeutic and for research use only, prepared to in vivo grade with ultra-low endotoxin. Scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) availability makes it practical for high-throughput and heavy-usage laboratories running large-scale murine FcRn binding experiments.

The sequence of the extracellular domain of mouse FCGRT (Ser 22-Ser 297) was fused with a C-terminal tag consisting of the AVI tag, TEV protease recognition sequence and a 10-His tag. This was co-transfected with the sequence of mouse B2M (Ile 21-Met 119) and the resulting FcRn heterodimer was purified. The full protein sequences can be downloaded from the product webpage.

Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4. No preservatives or cryoprotectants have been added. To obtain a final concentration of 1 mg/ml reconstitute 0.25 mg vials with 0.25 ml water and 1.0 mg vials with 1.0 ml water.
