Background
This human IgG2 Fc-plus-hinge fragment consists of the constant region and hinge of human IgG2 with no antigen-binding domain, supporting studies of the distinctive IgG2 hinge, Fc receptor engagement, and Fc-fusion design. Lacking a variable region, it functions as a format-matched negative reference that isolates Fc-driven behaviour from specific antigen engagement in functional and binding assays. The fragment is provided low in endotoxin and suitable for in vivo use, and produced in scalable milligram to gram quantities to serve bulk and high-throughput laboratories. It is a non-therapeutic reagent intended strictly for research use only.
