This human IgG1 Fc-plus-hinge fragment provides the constant region and hinge of human IgG1 without an antigen-binding domain, serving as a format-matched control reagent for studies of Fc biology, FcγR and FcRn interactions, and Fc-fusion experiments. Because it lacks a variable region, it acts as a negative reference that isolates Fc-mediated effects from specific antigen engagement in functional and binding assays. The fragment is supplied low in endotoxin and suitable for in vivo use, and produced in scalable milligram to gram quantities to support bulk and high-throughput laboratories. It is a non-therapeutic reagent intended for research use only.
