The SARS-CoV-2 spike protein mediates host-cell entry through the ACE2 receptor and remains a primary target for antiviral antibody research. This research-grade anti-SARS-CoV-2 recombinant construct is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of ensovibep, supplied strictly for research use only (RUO). It is manufactured to rigorous in vivo standards as an ultra-pure, low-endotoxin formulation and provided in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities to meet the needs of heavy-usage, high-throughput laboratories. Applications include viral neutralization and receptor-blocking assays, in vitro spike-binding screening, in vivo infection models, and biologics characterization, with use as a consistent positive control reagent.
