Combining the LALA effector-silencing mutations with the E356D and M358L allotype substitutions, this human IgG1 targets hen egg lysozyme and thus serves purely as a matched negative control in mammalian research. Researchers use it alongside engineered antibodies to benchmark non-specific signal, calibrate gates, and verify that biological effects arise from genuine target binding rather than the antibody scaffold. It is well suited to flow cytometry, functional assays, and in vivo model controls.
