Thy-1 (CD90) is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed on thymocytes, T cells, neurons, and stromal cells, where it participates in cell adhesion and signalling. Clone M5/49.4.1 is a rat IgG2a monoclonal antibody recognising mouse Thy-1, validated for depletion, functional assays, and immunoprecipitation. Anti-Thy-1 M5/49.4.1 is supplied in a low-endotoxin format suitable for in vivo use and manufactured in scalable milligram to gram quantities for bulk and high-throughput laboratories. As a research-use-only, non-therapeutic reagent, it provides reproducible lot-to-lot results for mouse T-cell, neuronal, and stromal-cell biology research.

This monoclonal antibody is aseptically packaged and formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (150 mM NaCl) PBS pH 7.2 - 7.4 with no carrier protein, potassium, calcium or preservatives added.

Functional grade preclinical antibodies may be stored sterile as received at 2-8°C for up to one month. For longer term storage, aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at ≤ -70°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
