Shiga toxin type 1 is a bacterial cytotoxin central to research on Shiga-toxin-producing infections and hemolytic disease. This recombinant human IgG1 kappa antibody is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of pritoxaximab, expressed in CHO cells against shiga toxin type 1. For research use only, it is purified to low endotoxin for in vivo compatibility and supplied in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities for high-throughput laboratories. It functions as a defined reagent for toxin-neutralization assays, functional binding studies, and preclinical models of Shiga-toxin-mediated disease.
