Background
CA 125 (MUC16) is a mucin glycoprotein over-expressed in ovarian cancer and a widely used tumour-associated antigen in oncology research. Offered as an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of abagovomab, this research-grade anti-CA 125 recombinant monoclonal antibody is intended for research use only (RUO). It is manufactured to in vivo quality standards, formulated for low endotoxin, and supplied in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities for high-throughput and heavy-usage laboratories. Typical applications include antigen-binding assays, in vitro functional screening, anti-idiotype studies, and in vivo oncology models requiring a reproducible reagent.
